The project consists of the design and construction of a new 0.26-acre park at the 6500 block of South Victoria Avenue located in, and owned by, the City of Los Angeles. The design includes a new playground with shade structures, a junior sized basketball court, a skate spot, entry plaza, fitness equipment, screen plantings, site furnishings, decorative fencing, irrigation, lighting, and landscaping.
New LED site lighting will be provided. Storm water will be retained on site as required to meet City of Los Angeles storm water requirements. Funding was provided by California State Parks, Department of Parks and Recreation, Statewide Park Development and Community Revitalization Program, awarded in April 2012.
